1. Obligation of Renter: At the end of each Rental Period, Renter will return the Facility to a neat, orderly and clean condition. Renter will be responsible for, and liable to, Unity at the Lake Church for all repairs to the Facility required as a result of damage caused by Renter and Renter’s guests.

2. Occupancy: Occupancy of the Facility will be limited to 70 in the Sanctuary and ______persons in the Fellowship Hall.

3. Indemnification: The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Unity at the Lake Church, its agents, servants, employees and Executive Officers from and against any and all claims, damages, losses and expensed, including attorney’s fees, resulting from the renters use of the facilities.

4. Assignment: This Rental Agreement is not assignable to any other person or entity.

5. Cancellation: No portion of the rental fee(s) including the deposit will be
refunded if notice is received less than five (5) days before a Rental
Period, unless the Facility is subsequently rented for the same date.

6. Right of Entry: Unity at the Lake Church officers, agents and employees shall have the right to enter the Facility at all times during the Event to confirm Renter’s conformance to this Agreement.

7. Alcoholic Beverage: Champaign and Champaign punch may be served at a wedding reception only. No other event. No hard liquor or beer is allowed at a wedding reception or any other event.

8. Smoking: This facility is a NO SMOKING facility and will be enforced. Any violation of this item will forfeit your security deposit and the particular party may be asked to leave the facility. Smoking is permitted outside in designated areas.

9. Food & Drink: FOOD AND DRINK are NOT allowed in the sanctuary. No cooking or grilling will be allowed on the property. Only the preparation of cold foods and warm up of precooked hot foods will be allowed. Renters will provide all items necessary for the preparation of cold foods and the warm up of pre-cooked foods. Renters will provide their own tableware including paper plates, paper cups, plastic silverware and napkins and/or any other tableware. Garbage bags and toilet paper are provided.

10. Decorations: All decorations must be approved in advance. No nails, tacks, push pins, etc. will be allowed. Or any other material that might alter the building or furnishings.

11. Damages: Any damages that occur to the facility that are a direct result of your rental party will be deducted from the security deposit. If the damages amount to more than the security deposit, the applicant will be responsible for all costs to repair the church property to its original condition.
